Napping in a pile, playing chase-the-tail, gently squabbling over treats, and melting into cuddles. They’re always busy being cute.

Pancakes! These cartoon cuties go looney for breakfast, especially when it’s soft, sweet, and shareable.
What is their best trait?
They’re incredibly friendly and lovable. Whether you’re new to rats or a seasoned fan, these three will charm your socks off in seconds.
Final thoughts:
An amazing trio through and through. Sylvester and Daffy are neutered, and all three are sweet, snuggly, and absolutely hilarious together. Adopt them and add a little cartoon magic to your life.

Sex: Male
Age: About 11 months - siblings
Location: Oakville
What is their background story?:
They were rescued from a large hoarding situation. They were very nervous and defensive when they arrived at their foster home, but are now rowdy, mischievous boys who love to free run and explore. They love to get attention, but have too much energy to be cuddly. They are great about being scooped up and handled, and have been great about meeting new people.
What is their favourite activity?:
Rearranging their entire cage. They won’t stop until everything is just right despite how much time their foster spent setting up their cage for them. They love to see the girl rats their foster owns, even if the girls don’t acknowledge them. They get very excited for free roam time, and have been building up their confidence very quickly from it. They will sit and rattle a toy in their cage for attention when you are nearby and they want to come out and be with you.
What is their favourite food?:
They love all food and are very gentle about taking treats. There have never been any fingers confused for treats if you stick your fingers in the bars. They are just as thrilled about their everyday food as they are about treats.
What is their best trait?:
They are very gentle and cooperative with each other. They never squabble over food and never play too rough with each other. Despite being fostered in a home that also has female rats (kept very separately of course), they have never shown any hormonal aggression or acted territorial.

Arrived: April 2025
Species and Minimum Ethical Enclosure Requirement: Rat: the minimum enclosure size required is 4 cubic feet per rat.
Sex: Female
Age: 10 months
Location: Guelph
What is their background story?:
Lavender (the lighter one) and Violet (the darker one) were born in a humane society. They lived there for the first 10 months of their lives before coming into the care of All Creatures Rescue. It's very hard to socialize small animals in that kind of an environment so ACR took the rats in to provide them a stable foster home and socialization opportunities with humans!
What is their favourite activity?:
Violet loves to create nests for herself in her cage. She will use any type of supply available to fluff up and cozy a space for herself. Lavender is very curious and likes to approach the sides of the cage to get a better eye on what her humans are up to. Both girls love snuggling together in their favourite space pod.
What is their favourite food?:
Yogurt drops! We aren't sure if they had much extras before but they now run to the door of their cage when they hear the crinkle of the yogurt drop packaging, and they are exploring new foods like kale, carrots and strawberries.
What is their best trait?:
We absolutely love Violet's wavy fur, her little white front paws and her super cute ears! Lavender has beautiful silvery/tan colouring, the adorable dumbo ears and eyes that feel like shes seeing your soul.
Final thoughts:
Lavender and Violet are quite happy to run around and climb on their human during roam free time, but are still scared by movement, being picked up and being pet. We see so much potential in these two to become snuggle bugs but it will take lots of time and patience with an experienced rat owner.
