Species and Minimum Ethical Enclosure Requirement: Hamster: minimum ethical enclosure size for a single hamster is 775 square inches of continuous floor space (length x width of a single open space within your enclosure. Note that none of the popular Crittertrail line of habitats sold by major retailers meets these minimum ethical standards for floor space.

What is their background story?:

He was with originally owned possibly by a child that didn't have any knowledge on hamster. He was in the same cage as another female hamster. They fought a lot and they rehomed them to us. Unfortunately pepperoni the female hamster passed away due to a number of complications.

What is their favourite activity?:

He loves his igloo that he sleeps in. At first he wasn't very interested in using his wheel. But now he spins on it for hours.

What is their favourite food?:

Bananas and cucumber

What is their best trait?:

Lorax also likes to sit on the top level of his cage where he sits almost like a human. He enjoys head pets. He's also just a giant fluff ball and it's quite fun to watch him groom himself.

Final thoughts:

Lorax seems to not eat hard foods. He will pick at seeds. He will need a mush diet. He eats his rat block as long as its a mush. I mix in oats as well.
