Sex: Male
Age: 6 months
Location: New Hamburg
What is their background story?:
Due to unforeseen circumstances and the safety of Marble the owner decided the best thing to do was to surrender him to All Creatures Rescue. Now Marble is ready to find his forever home.
What is their favourite activity?:
Marble is a small ball of energy. He loves his wheel and can he run fast. He is trained to pee in his sand bath so it must be cleaned daily. He loves to roll in the coco fiber substrate and you find him rolling in it several times in the day and night. He has just discovered how to burrow and it’s fun to watch him.
What is their favourite food?:
Marble’s favorite food is everything. He is not picky and he loves to eat. You can often see him waiting for his veggies every night around 8:00 pm.
What is their best trait?:
Marble’s fur is a beautiful colour and he has unique markings. Besides his marble like markings his fur is soft and fluffy. Have we mentioned he is potty trained to pee in his sand! He is a very sweet little ham, it takes him a bit to get use to you but once he does he is yours forever.
Final thoughts:
Marble would do best in a home with no dogs or cats and hamster savvy children.

Sex: Female
Age: 10 weeks
Location: Burlington
What is their background story?:
Cranberry is a lovely girl who was looking for a home after she ended up housed with an adult Syrian. Syrian Hamsters are solitary creatures after about 4-6 weeks of age and do not want to share their things.
What is their favourite activity?:
Cranberry loves chewing cardboard, burrowing, and sometimes even likes snuggling with her foster humans. She is timid at first, but can be scooped up without complaint for a cuddle on the couch or free-roam / playpen time. She likes to watch and listen to things going on around her, although sudden movements and noises can spook her.
What is their favourite food?:
Her favourite foods include Mazuri Rat & Mouse blocks, her seed mix, pumpkin seeds, treats, fresh fruits & veggie. So far she has willingly accepted everything her fosters have offered and loves dragging her Whimzees Alligators into her burrow out of sight. She has a very dainty way of taking food from humans, graciously reaching with outstretched hammie hands. It just melts your heart!
What is their best trait?:
Cranberry's best trait is her temperament. She has a very gentle nature and, once you get past her initial timid moments, will nuzzle with you. Although she does like to rip up fabrics and box board!
Final thoughts:
We look forward to watching Cranberry grow and thrive with her future family!

What is their background story?:
Ruby arrived at ACR when her human was moving to another country and couldn’t take her. Her cage had a very small non-functioning wheel. She now has a large wheel but doesn’t seem to know how to use it. We’re working on that.
What is their favourite activity?:
She loves to sleep and find new places to sleep.
What is their favourite food?:
Peas and cucumber are her favourite treats, but she also loves her hamster food.
What is their best trait?:
She prefers to interact with people rather than being in her out-of-cage playpen.
Final thoughts:
Ruby would not be a suitable pet for children. She has nipped a few times when she was picked up, but hopefully as she gets more settled, this behaviour will change.
