Kumquat was born along with 8 other babies from a hamster that came in pregnant to the rescue.
What is their favourite activity?:
She loves to build comfy nests. Loves to spin on her wheel as well.
What is their favourite food?:
Sunflower seeds and carrots
What is their best trait?:
She loves to sleep in Kleenex boxes. She will steal a sunflower seed out of your hand very delicately.
Final thoughts:
Kumquat is still fairly skiddish around being picked up but is slowly coming around.

What is their background story?:
Opie is one 8 pups from an accidental litter and surrendered to the Niagara Humane Society. Opie and most of the other pups where then surrendered to All Creatures Rescue after they were separated from mom.
What is their favourite activity?:
As we get to know Opie more he loves to dig in coco fibre substrate, dig tunnels and burrow. He pees in his sand(what a good boy). He really likes free roam time and exploring everywhere he can.
What is their favourite food?:
He can be picky at times so not really sure what his favourite foods are. What he will eat one day he may not eat the next day. What we do know is that at the moment he is not a huge fan of blueberries, apple, carrots.
What is their best trait?:
Opie is a very sweet boy, still a bit skittish but he will warm your heart with those beautiful eyes and his sweet demeanour..
Final thoughts:
We are still getting to know Opie and he is still learning on what it is to be a hamster. As he gets a bit older and socialized a bit more he will do well in any home.

Linus was one of a litter who came to ACR from the Niagara area.
What is their favourite activity?:
Linus has become a great athlete, specializing in wheel-running.
What is their favourite food?:
Linus loves his veggies - he likes a different combination each night. Peas and lettuce are his favourites. He also likes to have his hamster food scattered around his bin.
What is their best trait?:
Linus is gaining confidence each time he is out of his bin. He is learning the joys of exploring and that people aren’t so bad.
Final thoughts:
Linus is a gentle soul who likes peace and quiet. He would do best in a home where he can take things at his own pace.
