Arrived: January 2026
Species and Minimum Ethical Enclosure Requirement: Leopard gecko. 40 gallon terrarium recommended
Sex: Female, maybe
Age: Unknown, but likely not young
Location: Port Perry
What is their background story?:
Crunch was abandoned outside in the cold. She must have been loved once, given the elaborate set up she came in, but had clearly experienced neglect due to the state of the enclosure. She was dehydrated with some stuck shed and missing some claws. She is now eating and drinking well, has successfully shed, and is pooping regularly.
What is their favourite activity?:
She lives for naps, but is agreeable to being held.
What is their favourite food?:
Crunch likes meal worms, has had a few crickets, and enjoys a hornworm as a treat. She isn't much of a hunter, so has to be tong-fed.
What is their best trait?:
She is so easy going! Despite her name she has never tried to munch on anyone.
